FAQ
Starting out
Where do I begin?
Begin with the cleanser and one thing after it. Shuddhi in the morning and evening, then Prabha by day or Kumkuma at night. Two products used daily will do more than seven used occasionally.
In what order should I use the products?
Lightest to richest, always. Morning: Shuddhi, then Prabha. Evening: Shuddhi, then Kumkuma. Bath: Pavithra in the shower, then Snehana while the skin is still damp.
How long before I notice anything?
Comfort is immediate. Changes in tone and texture are slower. Give a routine a full cycle of weeks before judging it.
Do I need to know my dosha?
No. These are cosmetic preparations, chosen by what your skin feels like. Dry, tight skin tends toward Kumkuma and Snehana. Skin that feels hot or looks uneven tends toward Pavithra and Prabha.
Using them safely
Should I patch test?
Yes. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and leave it for 24 hours. Stop using anything that causes irritation.
Can I use the aroma oil directly on my skin?
No. Gandha is never applied neat. Add a few drops to a diffuser, or dilute into a carrier oil for massage.
Are these suitable during pregnancy?
Essential oil blends are not recommended in pregnancy. Please show the ingredient list to your doctor or midwife.
Is the range vegan?
No. Snehana is built on Shata Dhauta Ghrita — ghee washed one hundred times — which is a dairy preparation. We would rather say this plainly.
What is not in them?
No parabens and no sulphates. Where a modern active appears it is named on the product page.
Orders and delivery
Where do you ship?
India, Australia and the UAE, with prices shown in your region's currency.
How long will my order take?
Orders are packed within two working days. You will receive tracking as soon as the parcel leaves us.
Can I return something?
Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. If something arrives damaged, tell us and we will put it right.
How should I store them?
Out of direct sun, with the lids closed. Snehana will firm up in cold weather and soften again in the hand — that is normal, not a fault.
